PART TIME SENIOR LEGAL ADVISOR – LEGAL
The Government of Montserrat is seeking to recruit a Part Time Senior Legal Advisor in the Legal Department (Attorney General Chambers). CANDIDATES QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE PROFILE
The Advisor should be an experienced lawyer with at least 10 years post qualification experience in advocacy in civil and commercial law.
Additionally, the Advisor should possess:
- A Bachelors Degree in Law
- At least 10 years experience as an civil trial lawyer
- Experience of preparing drafting instructions
- Strong presentation, communication and report writing skills;
- Experience in preparation and delivery of capacity building inputs
- Experience of preparing proposals, procedural manuals, management and supervision skills;
- Computer skills: word processing, spread sheets, presentations;
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
