KINGSTON, Jamaica, April 16, CMC – The police are investigating the slaying of three high school students and an adult, in the central parish of Clarendon late Wednesday.
The police stepped up their presence in major towns and communities across the central parish of Clarendon following the murder of three schoolboys and a man.
The police report that three schoolboys, Ricardo Brisco, 14, Raymond Givans, 14 and Alex Turner, 16 were heading home from the gym when they stopped by a gate in the Monymusk housing scheme. The boys were approached by two armed men who forced them onto property occupied by Marquis Hamilton, 35, an accounting clerk at the Monymusk sugar factory.
The gunmen ordered all four to lie face down and then shot them execution style.
Ricardo, Raymond and Hamilton were pronounced dead at hospital. Alex later succumbed to his injuries.
Grief counselors have been meeting with students and staff of the schools attended by the boys.
Commissioner of Police Dr. Karl Williams also traveled to the area on Thursday to meet with the relatives of the victims.
