Facts you should know
CARI COM was established on 4 July 1973 by the Treaty of Chaguaramas on the principle of regional integration for national and regional development. The grouping comprises 15 full member states (Antigua and Barbuda, The Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Dominica, Grenada, Guyana, Haiti, Jamaica, Montserrat, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Suriname, and Trinidad and Tobago) and 5 associates (Anguilla, Bermuda, British Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands and Turks and Caicos Islands). The Secretariat is headquartered in Georgetown Guyana.
