Devil yawned front Well! “The Devil Yawned” is a new book by published novel author who carries the name Adair Arlen, who is described as having, “met her English husband in romantic New Orleans where they spent many happy and eventful years. They now reside with their West Highland White terrier, Glennie, on the ruggedly beautiful West Indian island of Montserrat in the Caribbean”.

The books are of a series, “The Paul Gregory Series”, Book 2 being a sequel to The House of Tomorrow (Book 1). The book is filled with fascinating characters. It is a story of love and hate, greed and desire, laughter and tears. It is essentially the tale of a man and a woman who have learned to expect nothing and who nevertheless strive for the ultimate prize – requited love.

Book 2 the sequel: To Say Goodbye includes a prologue which gives the reader background information. Paul Gregory, hero from the first novel, is now, married to the continuing heroine, Liliane Greening. They agree that it would hurt too much to say goodbye and promise never to utter those words.Devil yawned back

In addition, Adair has published several magazine articles, is a regular contributor of articles and commentary for The Montserrat Reporter, newspaper, published articles in the Daily Telegraph, and is a collaborator in writing the textbook, Advanced Forensi Civil Investigations. She has also written The Gift, a contemporary short story set in Montserrat; and is currently writing a novel entitled The Perfume Tree.
