Sherylene Dyer wins top segments in Nevis and Antigua-Barbuda

She was called Miss Montserrat and she was captivating at all times and much surprise to many, including commentators of the shows that she did not place in any of the top positions.

Miss Montserrat Sherylene Dyer (Candie Cayne as she is affectionately known), they said, wowed the judges and audiences at two pageant shows. These were Miss Caribbean Culture Pageant in Nevis and the Jaycees Caribbean Queen show in Antigua, held on July 27 and 30, 2010 respectively.

In Nevis she walked away with the top talent segment during the Miss Caribbean Culture Queen Pageant 2010,  competing against nine other delegates in the segments of Swimwear, Talent, Evening Wear, Interview, Amity and Miss Photogenic.

The Miss Caribbean Culture Pageant dubbed “A Touch of Class” is designed to promote friendship, regional integration while displaying true Caribbean culture, beauty and intelligence.

The other countries represented were Dominica, Trinidad and Tobago, Anguilla, Antigua, St. Marten, St. Croix, Barbados, St. Kitts and host country Nevis.

In Antigua she stole the show and walked away with the best interview segment. It was there also that she further impressed the crowd and the commentators with her other performances to the point there was much disappointment that she did not place.

Miss Dyer was accompanied by Chaperone Deonne Semple and Designer Irene Lee of Kreative Stitch.
The Montserrat Reporter interviewed Candie on Peoples television on Friday and will report on her own views and the story behind her successes and tell all about who she is.
