Rotaractors give to the community, the elderly and children

The Rotaract Club of Montserrat donated a basket of toiletries to the Margetson Memorial Home on Thursday, August 30, 2012.

The handover took place at the Home and was done by the President Miss Lyandra Hobson and Club Community Services Director, Mr. Geffen Gerrald. The basket included toilet papers, toothpastes, vaselines, juice and other much needed items.

Also during the week the Rotaract Club donated School uniforms and shoes, as part of their annual Back-to-School scholarship, to families that were identified by the Community Services Department.

Additional items to include Gift Certificates and lunch bags, compliments Johnnies’ Mecca Fashions and Karishma, were also donated to two (2) other families.

The Rotaract Club continues to look forward to giving back to the Community.
