Government House issued a press release announcing that Richard Aspin will be the sole honouree in Her Majesty the Queen’s birthday honours list 2010 in Montserrat.
“Buckingham Palace in London announced this morning, Saturday 12 June 2010, that the Communications and Projects Officer hi the Governor’s Office hi Montserrat Mr Richard James Aspin has been awarded the MBE in HerMajesty the Queen’s Birthday Honours List 2010.
Mr. Aspin who lives in Olveston receives his award for services to the Montserrat Community the field of Public Service, Sports Administration, Education and Culture.
His Excellency the Governor, Mr. Peter Waterworth has extended his personal congratulations to Mr. Aspin on his award.”
