Police officers among four on fraud charges

CASTRIES, St. Lucia, Oct 14, CMC – Two police officers were among four people who appeared in court on Tuesday following investigations into alleged fraudulent claims made to the NAGICO Insurance Company.

A police statement said that Constables Iker Lubin and Terry Chedy have been charged with the offence of conspiracy while two other men, Dave William and Mathias William faced charges of conspiracy, perverting the course of justice and attempted to obtain property by deception.

All four men have been granted bail, the police statement said.
