Following last Fridays semi-finals, nine calypsonians including six former monarchs are through to the Calypso Monarch finals.
Seventeen competed in the two round competition. On Tuesday, December 30, the finalists will attempt to dethrone the reigning Calypso Monarch Baptise Wallace who won the Calypso Monarch title on his first time in the competition.
The nine finalists are as announced on ZJB radio in a clip from Friday night by the MC Jermaine Wade.
They appear in no particular order as he announced the nine that will be going forward to join King Baptise:
