Montserrat student tops class at U.S.V.I University

Trichelle EkpeDAVY HILL—Montserrat born Trichelle Ekpe, has graduated at the top of her class with a Masters in Business Administration from the University of the Virgin Islands during a May 13 graduation ceremony.

The twenty-two-old daughter of Kodzo Ekpe and Joy Jones Ekpe, has successfully demonstrated her prowess in the education arena over the years, beginning with her graduation from the St. Croix Seventh day Adventist school at the top of her class where she received high honours as the Valedictorian in 2010.

To denote this accomplishment Trichelle earned the award of a full scholarship to further her education at the University of the Virgin Islands where she completed a Bachelors of Arts in Accounting. She went to secure the achievement of her masters as she again graduated top of her class at the May 13 graduation ceremony. Currently she works as an accountant for a company in the United States Virgin Islands and plans to become a Certified Public Accountant with a view to opening an accounting firm one day.

The current member of the Golden Key International Honours Society and Thurgood Marshall College Fund Scholar, said she could not have done it without God for she stands by the text ‘I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me’ Philippians 4:13.
