MCAP elects new central executive committee

GIU – The Movement for Change and Prosperity (MCAP) has announced the election of several persons to its central executive committee.

This includes a new chairman.

Last week, MCAP announced a slate of nine candidates to contest the upcoming poll.

The Chairman is Peter D. A. Queeley, Secretary – Peter J. West, Treasurer – Ms Cheryl White, Public Relations Officer – Justin Cassell and Political Leader – Mr Ruben T. Meade.

In his first comments following his election as Party Chairman, Mr Queeley indicates that his main focus is to ensure that MACAP is reelected to Governance at the upcoming general elections.

He says this will ensure that the MACAP administration can continue its agenda of charting the course of economic development on Montserrat to the benefit of all its citizens and residents.

The full MCAP slate of candidates to contest the election comprises Premier Reuben Meade, Eastern Taylor-Farrell,  Mr Charles Kirnon, Mr Colin Riley, Jermaine Wade,  Mr Roy Greaves, Mr Justin Hero Cassell, Miss Brenda Daley and  Dr Samuel Joseph.
