LIME has officially held their first prize giving ceremony in celebration of their 100 days of summer promotion. The highlight the prizes for the 100 days of Summer promotion was the cruise which was won by Cheverlyn Williams.
In words of thank you to LIME she said, “I would like to thank LIME for this special gift after having filled out the forms every month and dropping them into a box, I was pleasantly surprised last year,” She explained: “I think it was October when they pulled my name at ZJB to say I won a cruise and everybody around me was so excited. I didn’t know what they were excited about but it was that I paid early and now I’m cashing in on the big win.”
Ms. Williams said she was about to leave on the cruise on Sunday, (July 25). “… it’s for next week off to Miami and it takes me through the eastern Caribbean back to Miami and then back down,”
She thanked LIME very much and encouraged, “continue to do the good work, and I hope that I’ll continue to pay early and I’ll win something bigger.”
Other winners for the 100 days of Summer LIME promotion were Merlyn Tuitt, Mr. Neilson Duberry, Mrs. Veronica Walker, Roosevelt Irish aka Jones, and Keithly chambers, among several others.
At the ceremony, Mr. Joseph Cassell promoted the talk for 24 hours, he said “The talk for 24 where a prepaid customer can send a text and he or she can actually get 24 hours of talking for $5.00 only for a whole day to any mobile customer on Montserrat.”
“But it doesn’t stop there,” he added.”Postpaid customers, and I know that lots of times our postpaid customers say, ‘hey you’re not treating us as well as you are treating the prepaid customers.’ So yes there is also 100 days of free nights for our postpaid customers who have mobile service, should I say more,
The Montserrat LIME CEO advertised the broad band side: “Earlier this year we made some changes to our billing such that our customers broadband service can actually get the best value possible.”
He said customers can now get broadband at a monthly rate as low as $99.00 per month, but the new customers they are going to get also 100 days of free service.”
Mr. Cassell expressed LIME pride as he announced some of their other promotions. “I just want to point out that LIME is very proud to be here as part of a regional process, whereby, across the region we have the 100 days of Summer and particularly in Montserrat.
“We are trying again to give value back to our customers… the opportunity to have fun,” He pointed out, “there are text competitions… lots of things that you can do.”
He also made special mention of new Blackberry services. “We will be launching lots of Blackberry options to customers who want to buy Blackberry,” announcing they can get 100 days of free service also. They get discounts on hand sets along with new Blackberry plans that customers can avail themselves.
Cassell boasted, “LIME is very clearly focused on community and we will be looking at a project to the value of some $8000.00 whereby we will provide support at some point in the community during the course of this summer,” as he expressed LIME’s pleasure to serve. “We at LIME are happy to serve you. We are happy to have you as our customers but more importantly we are making sure that we are providing and giving the value back to you our customers…”
Following the LIME sell of their services and goodwill, senior LIME staff Leona joined the manager in distributing the prizes to the winners who attended for the ceremony. These included Lunch vouchers, Picnic packs, Petrol vouchers and Back to school vouchers. Most of the winners present expressed their thanks to LIME and encouraged that they carry on the ‘good’ works.
Two such expressions: “I would like to say thanks to lime for this gift I assure you that I am very grateful because I have been spending with LIME for a long time and I really appreciate them giving me back something, thank you.”
“… everybody, I would like to thank LIME for this gift and I wish them all the best to give the customer … better service throughout the coming years, thank you.”
STAFF ACTIVITIES – Outreach
LIME recently conducted a staff event with its Montserrat staff. Members of the LIME Operating Board visited for the event. These members are: Donald Austin (Legal and Reg. National of Barbados), David Shaw (CEO National of UK), Milton Bradly (Chief Commercial Officer, national of Jamaica), Henry Reid (EVP- Human Resources, national of Jamaica), David Crawford (chief operation officer, national of UK, Chris Dehring (chief marketing officer, national of jamacia),and Gerard Borely (chief financial officer, national of Trinidad).
The highlight of the day, July 16 was a community program where the LIME team visited among other places, the Margetson Memorial Home and made a significant donation of needed furnishings for the institution.
