LIME announces Randolph Lewis, new Acting General Manager

A release dated March 10, 2014 has named Montserratian Randolph Lewis as its new Acting General Manager effective that day.

According to the sources, has been appointed Acting General Manager effective March 10th. This appointment follows the resignation of Joseph Cassell exactly two months ago as LIME’s General Manager for the Montserrat, for over five years.

Mr. Lewis, who until his new appointment served as the units technical services technician, is said  to have over twenty years of experience at the LIME, which before the name change was commonly known as Cable and Wireless.

While making the announcement Jan Remmelg, Chief Executive Officer, LIME Northern Cluster, said, “Randolph is a model employee with the right skills to move the business forward.  We wish him every success in managing the Montserrat market conditions and ask for the full support of the community as we transition our business in a more customer focused entity.”

Mr. Remmelg since Cassell’s resignation served the unit. In a formal letter advising the resignation, he thanked Cassell for his leadership and assured, “there will be no reduction in the service levels that you have enjoyed with LIME and we will only seek to improve on same.”

In one of his recent activities at Heleconia House, LIME offices here on February 21, Remmelg distributed several Christmas prizes to 150 customers from December, “as a demonstration that we are providing value every month,” he said.
