LIAT launches US$199 fare from San Juan to Antigua

   Antigua, – LIAT, The Caribbean Airline, has launched its US$ 199 fare from the Luis Munoz Marin International Airport in San Juan to the V.C. Bird International Airport in Antigua.

Head of Corporate Communications Desmond Brown said the US$199 fare represents the price of a return ticket and includes all applicable taxes.

The promotional fare is available for two flights from San Juan to Antigua

Brown said tickets must be booked between October 8 and November 30, 2015 for travel between October 8 and February 29, 2016.

Meantime, a new non-stop flight will operate from San Juan to Antigua three days a week, effective 27th October, leaving at 22:55 and arriving into Antigua at 0:20.

LIAT tries to regain financial stability after facing constant financial problems and huge losses for reasons including high fuel prices, persistent gaps in the regional and international economy and increasing competition on their routes.

To that end, the airline chose to restructure its workforce, the flight schedules, marketing and promotion of their services in various markets.

The airline, with 22 destinations in the Caribbean, was founded in 1956 and is headquartered in Saint John’s, the capital of Antigua and Barbuda.

Tickets can be booked on the website – liat.com, through the Call Centre, Airport Ticketing Offices or through your local Travel Agent.  Seats are subject to availability and promotional terms and conditions apply
