JAMAICA: 4 legislators fined after pleading guilty to integrity act violations

KINGSTON, Jamaica (AP) _ Four members of Jamaica’s Parliament have pleaded guilty to violating an integrity act by failing to submit information on their assets as required by law.

Two of the legislators are from the opposition People’s National Party and the other two from the ruling Jamaica Labor Party.

A judge on Friday ordered all four to pay a $10,000 fine.

Three other legislators are under investigation for similar accusations.
