Improved gasoline for Montserrat

Motorists on Montserrat now have access to a higher quality gasoline.

Delta Petroleum’s Regional Manager Bevis Sylvester introduced the 93 octane gasoline last week Thursday. The 93 octane gasoline was launched during a ceremony at the A&F Service Centre in Sweeney’s, after which, some motorists were given free gasoline to test the new product.

ZJB News reported the representative for the island’s lone supplier of fuel said that the 93 octane fuel is of a much higher quality than the gasoline that is currently available at petrol stations. He also said that the new fuel will better the performance of vehicles in the hilly terrains of Montserrat. In addition a new filter system was introduced at the pumps. Motorists still have the option of purchasing regular gasoline at a lower price.
