News from the UWI Open Campus in Montserrat reveal that four Montserratian students will be among hundreds who will graduate from the University of the West Indies Open Campus this weekend.
A grand presentation of Graduates Ceremony is to be held at The Antigua St. John’s Pentecostal Church (SJPC), House of Restoration Ministries, Launchland Benjamin Drive, Woods Estate, St. John’s on Saturday, October 10, 2015 at 4:00p.m.
This 7th Presentation of Graduates Ceremony of The UWI Open Campus will be held in honour of six hundred and fifty (650) students (534 undergraduates and 116 postgraduates) who will officially graduate from the Open Campus with degrees, certificates and diplomas in a wide range of subject areas. This year’s Presentation of Graduates Ceremony will see over 150 of these graduands from across the Caribbean gathering together in the presence of Heads of State and Government, the Chancellor and Vice-Chancellor, members of the University’s Executive Management, other highly placed University and government officials, as well as family and friends, to receive their formal academic qualifications.
Kimora Ward, Julia Lee, R. Valecha and Michael Wilson are among the 650 students who will officially graduate from the open campus with degrees, certificates and Diplomas in a wide range of subject areas. Miss Ward will receive an upper second class Honors Bachelor of Science degree in accounting, Valecha, Lee and Wilson will each receive second class honors Bachelor of Science degrees in management study.
