Enumerators wanted for 2011 Montserrat Census

GIU – The Statistics Department is currently preparing to conduct Montserrat’s 13th Population and Housing Census in May 2011 and is looking for temporary enumerators, coders, editors, data entry clerks and supervisors.

The Population and Housing Census is the largest data collection undertaking carried out by a country. This survey provides a complete count of the population and provides benchmark data on the size of the population, age structure, educational attainment, labour force and socio-economic characteristics of all persons as well as living quarters on Montserrat.

According to a statement from the Statistics Department there are temporary posts available for persons to be trained and assist with collecting the data.

Applications can be collected from the Statistics Department and must be submitted by Friday, February 25, 2011.
