The Models

During the show the participants were entertained with music form the string band, the Masquerades jam band and the Volpanics Steel Orchestra.

COMYA is an acronym suggested by Mr David Lake and a group Formed by Mrs Janelle Brandt Requa of Jaja Designs. It means Cultural of Montserrat Yard Association (or Activities), and when use in the context of Montserratian dialect it means ‘come here’.

The main objective of the organization is mainly to encourage the residents of Montserrat to develop indigenous industries using locally grown and produced items. Local artistes and band were also on show.
