The first part of The Ministry of education primary school brain power quizzes which was held on Thursday was won by the Brades primary school.
It was the grades six class of the St.Augustine school who took on their counterpart from Brades primary school St. Augustine amasses 27 points and Brades 54 points.
Permanent secretary Daphne Cassell outlines the benefits of the brain power quiz. she said “The main objectives of the brain power quiz include to assess the coverage of the curriculum at the upper level of the Primary education system ,to share the skills and knowledge of the students with the community ,additionally the quiz provides a forum for building collegiality among teachers and students across school, beyond the objective stated the quiz is intended to be a memorable event for participant ,thirdly as participant you are performing in the capacity of an ambassador for your school.
