Following recent news and ‘debate’ or questions surrounding BAICO (British American Insurance Company, and CLICO (Colonial Life Insurance Company) the following emerged earlier this week amidst the Budget debates sessions in the Legislative Assembly.
The plan of arrangement BAICO-CLICO Bill came up for its first reading in the Legislative Assembly in Tuesday. The bill will allow local creditors to be involved in the plan of arrangement for their resolution of British America Insurance Company and CLICO Life Insurance Company Limited.
