Arts Council to host stage management/production workshop

The Montserrat Arts Council is making an effort to advance the quality of productions and Festivals on island.

News from the Council says it will host a series of training sessions and workshops. The first in this series is a Stage Management/Production workshop, which will be held in October of this year. The workshop will be facilitated by Dr. Dani Lyndersay of the Department of Festival and Creative Arts (DCFA) UWI, St. Augustine.

It is expected that this workshop will benefit churches, community groups, private show promoters, schools and anyone who is interested in production. Registration will be required with a small fee applicable.

The workshop which will run from October 24-27, 2015. It concludes with an examination, and certification will be accredited by an affiliate of University of the West Indies.
