After two entertaining nights of music, 16 calypsonians will be competing in the semifinals on Saturday December 19, 2015.
The Montserrat Annual Festival officially opens on Friday, December 18 and with it will come anticipation for more of the energy that has been displayed during the calypso eliminations.
This year, the eliminations were held in two parts, one in Salem and the other at the Hot Spot in Little Bay, this past Saturday.
There were two no-shows in the night’s competition which increased the odds for other artists to go through to the next round.
Singers brought the funny and the contemplative to both shows.
Moving into the finals are the following singers: Cupid, Khandie, Rondelle, Tabu, Mighty Soca, Maggie D, King Natty, Ben Durand, Ice man, Sylk, Rabo, Undertaker, Dnicess, Maxcine, Yogi Laser, and Storm.
