Editorial – December 24, 2014
It must have been a dream, since it could not have been a plan that this Christmas when we could speak of good cheer, goodwill, giving, sharing and all the good things that should come to Christian people and all the others who believe in the true spirit of Christmas, we seem lost for words.
Instead we find ourselves talking seriously about ‘curse.’ “The political curse – Clare Short curse’, and the other bad words such as corruption and sustainable development. It can get a little tiring.
Man from Baker Hill said the same time we are writing about curse, “The situation at MDC and by extension Little Bay in the year 2014 is the just the tip of the Curse.”
But we reminded in the end, “only through prayer you get rid of curse.” Only with faith and the right spirit. It is sad and more prayer is needed. Do not let it be said anymore, ‘their hearts are in the right place, but…’ We have been there before. It is more sad when we want to be good but do not know the right thing to do. It will always end up bad. The masses can do plenty. Let their voices be heard and send their prayers up to heaven.
So cheer up! We send the message out to all with blessings and good wishes.
Let.s see how we can use these quotes.
“Christmas, children, is not a date. It is a state of mind.”
“For somehow, not only at Christmas, but all the long year through, The joy that you give to others is the joy that comes back to you.”
“Christmas is the day that holds all time together.”
“Love came down at Christmas; love all lovely, love divine; love was born at Christmas, stars and angels gave the sign.”
“Christmas is not a time nor a season, but a state of mind. To cherish peace and goodwill, to be plenteous in mercy, is to have the real spirit of Christmas.
“The joy that you give to others is the joy that comes back to you.
The only blind person at Christmas time is he who has not Christmas in his heart.
Christmas is not as much about opening our presents as opening our hearts.
I will honor Christmas in my heart, and try to keep it all the year. Christmas is not as much about opening our presents as opening our hearts.
