The ‘clean' Spirit
We are so accustomed to referring to the Spirit as the ‘Holy Spirit' that sometimes we forget He is first and foremost just that - holy. He is many other things besides, but He is preeminently holy. »

Change your world
John writes,'Do not love the world...' But what does that mean? First, let's look at what it doesn't mean. It doesn't mean being so heavenly minded that you're no earthly use. Hebrews 4:14-16 introduces us to a truth that can transform our prayer lives. It focuses on the person and work of Christ, our great High Priest who helps us in our prayers.'.. .we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God...' »

WE HAVE A GREAT HIGH PRIEST WHO HAS PASSED THROUGH THE HEAVENS...' HEBREWS 4:14
Once a year Israel's High Priest would walk through the two outer areas of the temple and go into the 'Holy of Holies' to obtain pardon for the people's sins. The Bible says that Jesus, our High Priest, passed through the Heavens and entered the Holy Place in the heavenly Temple to offer a 'once-for-all-time' sacrifice for our sins (see Hebrews 9:24-28). »
